Former Gilbert Resident Died

Funeral services were held today for Howard Sawyer, 84, a former resident of Gilbert who died Wednesday at his home in Sioux Rapids. Burial was at the Pleasant Grove cemetery, near Gilbert.
Born and raised near Ames, he is survived by his wife, Nina of Sioux Falls and one son Phillip, DePere, Wis.
