MRS. ED T. ADAMS
Mrs. Mary Jane Adams, 75, wife of Ed T. Adams, 613 Sixth street, died in the Iowa Lutheran hospital, Des Moines, early Sunday, following an attack of diabetes and heart disease. She was taken to the hospital there a week ago.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Adams were born in this county and had lived here nearly all their lives. They spent eight years in South Dakota three years after their marriage, but returned to Ames.
Mrs. Adams was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kooser - the oldest of 11 children. She was born on a farm near Nevada. Mr and Mrs. Adams celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary last December. Their golden wedding anniversary was celebrated with their daughter, Mrs. Grace Davis of Oakland, Calif.
Besides her husband, she leaves Mrs. Davis and three sons, Parley of San Francisco, Percy of Seattle and Dwight of Omaha.
Funeral service was held Wednesday in the Adams chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
