THE STORY CITY HERALD, Story City, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, March 29, 2006.

Donald W. Humphreys of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, 75, husband of Connie (Severaid) Humphreys, passed away March 17, 2006 at their home. He suffered from bone cancer for a very short duration. Don was retired from Temple University Science Faculty. He was his loving wife's caregiver. Donald was originally from New Providence, Iowa.

Memorial services were held March 26, 2006, at a little church near their daughter Ann's home in Reading, Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; four children, Janet Krasner, Eric Humphreys (Audrey), Ann Sellers (Bruce) and Paul Humphreys; 12 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, all of whom were his great joy.

The Severaid family feels blessed to have had him in their family, and the wonderful memories will linger forever.
