Cecil Lewis Robertson, 90, of Story City passed away March 24, 2006 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Cecil was born August 20, 1915 in Moore Station, Iowa in Powesheik County to John and Myrtle (Hildebrand) Robertson. He graduated from Hubbard High School and graduated from Ellsworth Community College. He married Dorothy Nymeyer in 1942.

He farmed near Williams for many years until moving to Story City in 1982. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Story City.

Cecil is survived by his wife Dorothy of Story City; a son, Steven Robertson and his wife Glenda of Delhi, Iowa; a daughter, Diane Wirkler of Louana, Iowa; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Jenny), Austin and Whitney Robertson; a sister, Ann Steelman (Claire) of Ames; and a brother, William Robertson (Lena) of Perry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Leo, Howard and Charles; and a sister, Ona Miller.

The body was donated to Des Moines Osteopathic College in Des Moines and no services are planned at this time.
