Ames newspaper, 1985. Agnes Haverly LaVelle, 80, Rock Springs, Wyo, died Friday, April 5, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, in Rock Springs. Graveside services will be 11 am Wednesday, April 10, at Ames Municipal Cemetery with the Rev Les Gyllstrom, Bethesda Lutheran Church, officiating. Agnes Lusk was born Aug 2, 1904 in Missouri to Alfred and Sarah (Anthony) Lusk. She went to high school in Missouri. She married Lyle A Haverely on Jan 13, 1932, in Rockford, Ill, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1941. While she lived in Ames she attended Bethesda Lutheran Church. Survivors include a daughter Sally J Haverly of Rock Springs, Wyo; and a sister, Billie Bruce of Nevada. she was preceded in death by two sisters. Adams Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangement.
