Eric Michael Turgeon, 19, died Friday, July 28, after complications of a construction accident in Memphis, Tenn. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 703 12th St., in Marshalltown. Interment will be private.

Survivors include his mother LaVonne "Von" Craghead, and step-father William "Ted" Craghead, of Toledo; his father Glenn Turgeon and step-mother Lori Turgeon, of Lakeside, Calif.; one brother, Daemond Turgeon, of Lakeside, Calif.; three step-sisters, Amber Randall, Cami Call and Sky Upshaw, all of Ogden, Utah; grandparents Martha Powell Miller, of Waterloo, Robert Craghead, of Brigham City, Utah, Al and Mary Bean, of Des Moines, Eugene Turgeon of Cumberland, R.I., and Carol Turgeon, of Lakeside, Calif.; and eight nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Martin Miller.

Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama is in charge of local arrangements.
