J. Maurine Kangley

NEVADA - J. Maurine (Johnston) Kangley of Mercedes, TX, formerly of Nevada, died May 20, 2006 in Minneapolis, MN.

Maurine was born July 1, 1910 in Eldora, IA to John A. and Roxy (Early) Johnston. On January 1, 1934 she was united in marriage to Gerald D. Kangley.

Maurine is survived by one daughter, Janese Crowley of Blaine, MN; and two sons, Jack (Mary) Kangley of Hampton, IA and Joe (Sally) Kangley of Rockwell City, IA; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Maurine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, William.

Funeral services were Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada. Visitation was from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada with a prayer service at 8:00 pm.

Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

The Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
