THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, May 19, 2006.

Angel Ibarra, 46, of Ames, died Wednesday, May 17. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames with Susan Kumpala presiding. Burial will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.

Angel Ibarra was born June 25, 1959, in Los Angeles. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps when he was 17. He began a career in the printing business in 1979 and worked his way up to supervisor and relocated to Boone at Heinrich Envelope, LLC.

He was a great father, grandfather and best friend.

He is survived by his son, Angel (Anna) Ibarra and his daughter, Divina Ibarra and her children, Mia and Mariah, all of Ames.

A visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Stevens Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
