AMES, Iowa - Margaret Lamson, 91, of Ames, formerly of Colfax, died of respiratory failure, Friday, May 2, at the Northeast Health Care Center in Ames.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Collegiate United Methodist Church in Ames with the Rev. Cynthia McCalmounty officiating. Burial will be in Iowa State University Cemetery in Ames.

Memorials to the Children and Familis of Iowa will be accepted.

Mrs. Lamson was born in Colfax, May 28, 1905, the daughter of Charles and Nora (Dales) Watt. ~ The Newton Daily News, Newton, Iowa, May 6, 1997.
