THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, March 24, 2006.

Donald E. Day of Spring, Texas, died Saturday, March 18, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Houston after a lengthy illness of cancer. Services were today in Houston.

He is survived by his wife, Patty; one son, Mark of Las Vegas; one daughter, Judy MacDonald; and one granddaughter Olivia of Loveland, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Day and Clara (Reinsch) Day.
