Kane McCutchan, 35, of Ames died at home Wednesday, March 22. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames.

Kane McCutchan, 35, of Ames, died March 22, 2006, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., March 26, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Cremains will be buried at a later date in Grand River Cemetery, Grand River.

Kane was born on October 2, 1970, in Fort Dodge to Kermit and Mardean (Fear) McCutchan. He graduated from Huxley High School. He worked at Citgo (Almost Always Open) and was in the Navy. Kane enjoyed movies, friends and work.

He is survived by father, Kermit McCutchan; two sisters, Gina Seaton and Tracy Schulz (sisters); two nieces, Sophie Seaton and Hailey Schulz; nephew Taylor Schulz; and uncles Hallie McCutchan and March McCutchan.

He was preceded in death by mother Mardean Fear McCutchan, nephew Cassidy Powell Seaton, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Dalton McCutchen and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Fear.

Adams Funeral Home in Ames was in charge of the arrangements.
