Dear Mr. Sore;
I am a bit confused by this thread of information regarding one Cecil Foster Benson, who supposedly was in the LeMars area supposedly 1881-1883. I have found no reference to the name in the newspapers on line or in any other data. Wondering if he is the one born 1857 in Ramsgate, Kent married Mary O'Neill 1860-1935 in 1881, what was he doing in this area in 1881-1883, then apparently back to England to architect a church. Need more data on him to accurately research this.
As mentioned before I am in Sioux County Iowa, LeMars is in Plymouth county and then there may be some confusion between Sioux City (in Woodbury County) and Sioux County.
I will continue to look into it.
