I am looking for information on Elsie A. Briggs who married a James A. Cottrell/Cottrill. What I have shows James was born Dec 14, 1842 in England and died Nov 4, 1879 in Ireton, Iowa. He was buried at St. John Lutheran Cemetary. That accounts for the 1880 census which shows Elsie as being a Widow with 5 children. The 1885 census shows her as being married to a James A. Webster. The next I can find is James and Elsie Webster being in Oregon in 1910 according to the census report. I can't find anything on the death of James Cottrill or the marriage of James Webster and Elsie Cottrill. Can someone direct me as to where to search next?
