I am researching the Wood family from Haywarden. My dad told me that his Grandfather, Guy H. Wood, (11/3/1886 - 4/3/1901) died of pnumonia after jumping into the Big Sioux River trying to help somebody that had fallen in. Would appreciate any information, newspaper article or obituary on him. Also any information on John W. Wood, Guy's father, born about 1836, from New Brunswick, Canada and Thomas A. Wood, John's father, born about 1818 also from New Brunswick, Canada would be appreciated.
