My research shows that Philinda Tuttle died in December, 1928 and not January 1925 in Sioux City. Her husband, Frederick D. Tuttle died on September 20, 1922. They are both buried in Logan Park Cemetery in Sioux City [Section 11, Plot 166].
A Lulu Carrick was married in Woodbury County, Iowa on November 11, 1897 to Alonzo Green.

Fred D. Tuttle, pioneer Sioux City musician and for many years part owner of the Pollard & Tuttle music house, died Wednesday night at the Samaritan hospital. Death was caused by diabetes and gangrene poisoning. Coming to Sioux City 40 years ago, Mr. Tuttle opened a music store. Later he closed out his connections with the firm of Pollard & Tuttle and for many years sold pianos throughout the northwest. Recently he wrote a textbook on primary work for musical instructors. Becoming ill at his home, 902 Morningside Avenue, some weeks ago, he was removed to the Samaritan hospital. He was 65 years old at the time of his death.
