I have found your blog on line finaly to answer my questions as to what you know already about the Ganzevoort family in the USA.
I see you are missing that Peter Rykeles Gansevoort married Pietje Albert Krol as found on www.genlias.nl She died 2 Apr 1883 Kollumerland at 29 years. Peter then moved to the USA immigrating in 1884. I believe he took his daughter along and may not have married again. As you found he was living with his daugther Ella in 1925.
I could not find is obituary in the Sioux County IA newspapers that you can search at http://siouxcounty.newpaperarchive.com
Heine family has many more children as you have also found.
I think you have found more than I can find even. Will look into it more if you ask me specific questions that you want answered.
