I have found that Johanna Van de Hoef married Willem Van Beek on Dec 2, 1858 in Barneveld Gelderland Netherlands. She and Beertje (Bertha were daughters of Willem Dirksen van de Hoef and Heintej Van de Brink. In the 1885 census of Richland, Mahaska County IA. Johanna is already dead and William 49 was living with Henry 19 and Dirkey 17. So she must have died somewhere in that area, possibly near Pella IA. The 1910 census of Nassau Sioux County indicates the he came over in 1870. He at 75 yrs, was then living with his son Henry's family near Alton IA.

Mijnt Swarts age 24 born at Nijkerk Geld. Neth married on Apr 3, 1856 at Barneveld to Beertje van de Hoef age 24 born at Barneveld, with same parents as JOhanna.
