Dear Curtis:
I have had a member of our club from Rock Valley look up the newspaper obit of Mrs. Peter DeJong that was in the Rock Vally Bee of March 4, 1932.
'Mrs. Peter DeJong passed away at her home in Rock Valley Monday morning, following an illness with pneumonia. Mrs. De Young had been a resident of Rock Valley for that past forty years. She was born in Holland May 31, 1862, where she grew to womanhood. She is survived by her husband, four sons, and four daughters, some living in Rock Valley and vicinity and others at a destance. She also leaves thirty grand children. Funeral services wil be held in the Methodist church this Thursday afternoon and the remains will be taken to the Valley View Cemetery.'
