I have found in the 1900 census for Henry Luchtenburg b. Feb 1875 his wife was Carrie and under their names was the mother of Henry, then Mrs John Buurman or Buursman. Her name was Dyana or some such spelling. Do you have that census record? Also I see in that Ref. church book of Orange City under the Lugtenburg family is the family of Buursman, Johannes and wife Diana Labberton. So the pieces are falling into place. She remarried but I couldn't find their marriage in Sioux County.
