Willempje De Groot nee Beukelman died at 55 years and six month. She was born Aug 20, 1870 in Oud Beierland, Netherlands. In 1878 she came to America with her parents. First a short while in Sioux County, then the family moved around Douglas county, SD. In Dakota she married John De Groot. She lived in Sioux Center the last 29 years Also five sisters and two brothers survive. Childrens are John De Groot, Mrs. Paul Veencamp and Gertrude De Groot
