Johannes the six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Broek died at the home of his parents one mile south and two miles west of old Sioux Center on Saturday Oct first , the victim of the dread disease infantile paralysis. Funeral services were held Monday Oct 3rd in the grove near the house and interment was made in Sioux Center cemetery. Rev. G. De Jonge pastor of the Second Ref church conducted the services.
