Mr. Kole Kosters, age 30, of Inwood, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at his home.

A private memorial service will take place on Sunday, at the Alton Presbyterian Church in Alton, with Dean Dykstra and Shari Connelly officiating. The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City is in charge of arrangements.

Kole James was born on December 11, 1991, in Sioux Center, the son of James Lee and Kay Lynn (Pruismann) Kosters. He was raised in Sioux Center and graduated from the Sioux Center High School.

Following graduation, he lived in Massachusetts for five years, where he worked for the Yankee Candle Company. He then returned to the Northwest Iowa area, and worked for Harvard Integrations in Tea, South Dakota.

Kole loved being out in nature, hiking, and watching animals. He enjoyed listening to music, leather working, gaming, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his parents, James and Kay Kosters, of Sioux Center; a sister, Miranda Kosters, of Sioux City; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Priscilla Kosters, and Marvin and Jean Pruismann; and two uncles, Larry Kosters and Kirk Pruismann.

Memorials will be given to the New Life Treatment Center in Woodstock, Minnesota.
