Mr. Jeffrey Klein, age 66, of Granville, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022, at his home in Granville.

A visitation with the family present will be held after 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 12, with a rosary and scriptural prayer service at 5:30pm, at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Granville. There will be a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, at 10:30am, at the church, with the Rev. Fr. Daniel Greving officiating. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Granville. The Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City is in charge of arrangements.

Jeffrey James was born on April 8, 1956, at Sibley, the son of James J. and Angeline M. Klein. He was raised in Granville, where he attended the St. Joseph’s School and graduated from Spalding Catholic High School. He then attended Iowa State University in Ames, graduating with a bachelor's degree.

Mr. Klein was an avid fan of the Iowa State Cyclones, the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, and Notre Dame. He was also a supporter of the United States Marine Corps. His family was important to him, and he will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include his three children, Adam Klein, and his wife, Rynnetta, of The Colony, Texas; Jenna Klein, of McKinney, Texas; and Emily, and her husband, Jake Meyers, of Center Point; four grandchildren, Shirley, Colson, Jolie, and Jaxon; and two sisters, Patti, and her husband, Steve Meis, of Orange City; and Lisa Osterkamp, of Sioux Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
