He was the son of Joseph Sanderson 1813-1897 and Ann Jane Ganton 1817-1860. Wife was Charlotte Byers 1856-1934 Ont Can. Children listed were Clara 1881-1910, James Russell 1888-1952, Aleda Anne 1889 and Elaine.
