A sad death occurred here last Friday morning. A young man by the name of Henry Zanter, aged 18 years, was with his mother and several brothers and sister, from Manson, Iowa enroute to their new home in Freeman SD. Then they arrived here the young man could go no farther he had not been well for several days, and Thursday as they arrived he was obliged to go to bed with was provided him, medical aid was summoned and the best of care given him. But to no avail. He was beyond human aid and died Friday morning, brain fever being the cause. The remains were taken to Freeman SD for interment.
