John Schwebach, one of our pioneer settlers, died at his home in town Saturday Oct 5, after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s church Tuesday oct 8, and services were conducted by the deceased’s brother, a bishop of Milwaukee, Wis., and assisted by Fathers Meyer of Milford and LeClair of Sutherland, Schemel and Gerieman of this place.
