Frank Popma Jr. 79 of San Juan TX, passed away Dec 17 at Doctors Hospital Edinburg TX. Known as “Frank the Tank” in high school, he was a 1959 graduate of Maurice – Orange City High School participating in baseball and Football.

Submitter couldn’t find a more in length obit, but did find a few tidbits in local newspapers. He was believed to be the son of Frank Popma 1908-1979.and Rencella Draayer Mrs. Frank Popma. 1913-2001. He married Janice Van Muyden May 28, 1960. They had a son Bret 1962, and an adopted daughter Nicole. 1972 The marriage ended in divorce in 1979.
