Another sudden death is to be mentioned in this issue. Johan Schreurs, who was still working three weeks ago, is no longer. About two weeks ago he was affected by severe pains in the head. He lay on his army for several days, without the doctors knowing exactly what his ailment was. It was clear that it was in his brain, but as he did not have a fever it was not possible to determine what it was. On Friday morning, however, a fierce fever rose suddenly, rising to 105 degrees after only a few hours he had finished the last battle. Monday had the burial place from the Chr. Ref. church A large crowd of interested people took part in the funeral service. Our deep sympathy is with the widow of the deceased, who is left with four young children. May she seek and find comfort in Him who would be a widow's man and father of orphans.
