THOMAS HUBBLING LAID TO REST MONDAY AT SHELDON

Thomas Hubbling died at his home in Birmingham, Michigan, last Wednesday afternoon, following an illness of leukemia. He became ill in July and after spending about a week in a hospital in Detroit, returned home where his mother and wife cared for him until his death.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Community Building in Sheldon with Clyde Johnson officiating. Burial was made in East Lawn Cemetery in Sheldon.

Thomas Hubbling was born in Hull on June 23, 1933, the son of William and Alice (Van Zanten) Hubbling. Her spent his entire life in Hull. He attended the local schools, graduating from the local Public High School in 1950. The following summer he was married to Miss Edna Beyer, daughter of Mrs. Tillie Beyer of Sheldon. In October of 1950 the young couple left for Michigan where he was employed by the Dearborn Motor Company. Shortly after Thomas became ill, the couple was blessed with a son, Terry William, now eight weeks old.

Those who survive are his wife and son; parents; three sisters, Mrs. Keith Bohn and Mrs. Leonard Dye, both of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Herb Everhart of Fargo, North Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends.
