The death of Joseph Vonderharr at the age of thirty two years occurred last Friday after a two weeks illness with brain trouble. Deceased was farming his father’s land one mile west of town and was a model young man in every respect. The funeral services took place Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic church and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. He leaves a father, mother, four brothers and two sister to mourn his loss. May he rest in peace.

Research note: Joseph was the son of Henry Vonderhaar’s first wife Ann Margarita Bovendick 1843-1883.
