Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Jospeh’s Catholic church Granville for John H. Vonder Harr, 68 who passed away in a hospital Jan 29, after a brief illness. Jan. 29, after a brief illness. The Rev. John Schissel conducted the last rites. Interment was at the parish cemetery. Rosaries were recited Sunday and Monday.

A retired farmer, he was born at Granville July 13, 1903, and was a lifelong Granville resident. Survivors are five sisters and two brothers: Bertha, Mrs. William O. Verschoor, Louise, Mrs. Peter Verschoor, and Caroline, Mrs. Henry Voersma of Sioux City, Elizabeth, Mrs. Henry Foreman of Sheldon, Mary, Mrs. James Bock of Granville, Ed Yonder Harr and Elinor Christensen, both of Granville.
