Harry Kennedy, of Hawarden, was drowned in the Big Sioux while attempting to swim across. It is believed he was attacked with heart failure.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born February 10, 1890 and died August 13, 1913. He is buried in Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden.
