C. Wenzel dies Jan 2, at Alvord
Funeral services were held Saturday Jan 5, for Charles Wenzel of Alvord who died at his home January 2 of a heart condition Mr. Wenzel had been ill for a long while previous to his death.

Since his wife’s death last June his son in law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Witt had cared for Mr. Wenzel. Surviving are three daughters Tillie Mrs. John Growth, Katie Mrs. John Will, Lonnie C. Mrs. William Miller, two sons, Will of Clovis CA and Fred of Lester and several grandchildren. Service were held in the home at Christ Lutheran church in Alvord conducted by Rev. Arnold Somner Burial was at Hull IA.
