In 1900 census of Rock Sioux County IA Sedrick Werhoven was 11 months born Jun 1899, His father Jelle ‘Jay’ Werkhoven was born Apr 1864 in Iowa , his mother Mary E. was born Oct 1871 in IA. He had a sister Nina M. age 2. And he was 11 months.

In 1920 census of Rock Tsp, Lyon County IA he was a carpenter, the son of Jay Werkhoven 53 and Mary 49, Cedric was 20 years, Ivanhoe 18, Calvin 14 and Irine 19.

No obit was found to tell why the young man died at a young age. The Rock Valley Bee had only three pages of the Aug 4th issue of the paper that survived.
