STROKE IS FATAL TO MRS. CONWAY

Mrs. Orville Conway, a resident of this vicinity all her life, passed away at the Hawarden Hospital at 5:15 on Monday morning following a stroke. She had been a sufferer from heart trouble and complications for some time.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Associated Church with Reverend Noel Orcutt in charge. Interment will be made in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Neva Bedard, daughter of Samuel and Nellie (Patterson) Bedard, was born on a farm in Union County, southwest of Hawarden, March 20, 1901, so had just passed her 43rd birthday. She was married to Orville Conway October 17, 1918, and to this union were born five children, one of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. Veloris Embrock of Sioux City, and Robert, Donna Jean and Eloise, at home. She also leaves three brothers and five sisters, John Bedard of Sioux City, Harry Bedard of Alcester; Fred Bedard of Beresford; Mrs. Margie Wilken of Hawarden; Mrs. Lillie Harvey of Akron; Mrs. Gladys Heald of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Fletta Bonnichson of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Gillespie, Illinois.
