Funeral services were held at Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley January 17 for George S. Miller, 78, of Rock Valley, who died January 13 at the Sioux Center Community Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Eugene A. Walther and burial was in Riverview Cemetery at Rock Rapids.

Mr. Miller was born in The Netherlands, July 14, 1893 and came to the United States in 1914. He married Vira Bo Brouwer in 1916. She preceded him in death in 1965.

Survivors include three sons, William Snitselaar of Sioux Falls, Fred Snitselaar of Rock Rapids, George Snitselaar of Pleasanton, California; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Anna) Roth of Omaha, Mrs. Herman (Gertrude) Steenblock of Rock Rapids, 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Miller was born with the sir name of Snitselaar but had it changed to Miller.
