MR. HENRY ADDINK SR

Funeral services for Henry Addink Sr., who died Wednesday March 7, were held Saturday March 10, at 1:00 at the Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home and 1:30 at the Central Reformed Church with Reverend M. Klaaren officiating. Burial was in the Sioux Center Cemetery with Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Henry Addink Sr. passed away Wednesday morning at his home at the age of 80 years. Mr. Addink was born in Chicago and came to Sioux County at the age of one year and on March 2, 1907 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Houtsma.

To this union the following children were born: Jean, Mrs. Peter Ten Napel; Henry Addink Jr.; Gertrude, Mrs. Ted Doornink; Dorothy, Mrs. Bert Bruinsma; Dena, Mrs. Don De Gooyer; and Leona, Mrs. William Ten Napel. Thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. He is further survived by three brothers, Herman of Sioux Center; Gerrit of Washington; and John of Sioux Center. One son died in infancy.
