Dawn J. Adams, 36, of Vermillion died Thursday, December 22, 1983, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Sioux City.

Services were at 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 27, in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawarden. The Reverend Dwight Rengstorf and the Reverend Kurt Lehmkuhl officiated. Burial was in the Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden. A prayer service was held at 7:30 P.M. Monday, December 26, in the Concordia Lutheran Church in Vermillion.

Mrs. Adams, the former Dawn Huebner, was born November 15, 1947, in Hawarden. She was married to Richard Adams October 2, 1965, in Hawarden. He died June 29, 1979, in an automobile accident. She had lived in Vermillion since 1979 where she was employed in the business office of the of the University of South Dakota and was a student in the computer science department.

Survivors include one son, Joshua; two daughters, Joanna and Jessica, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Huebner of Hawarden; one brother, Dallas of Hawarden; four sisters, Mrs. Tom (Delores) Bertram of Sioux City, Mrs. James (Delphine) Farrell of Spirit Lake, Mrs. James (Deborah) Miller of Ames and Mrs. Richard (Dixie) Johnson of Alcester, South Dakota.
