MRS. DORA VELDBOOM OF MAURICE; GONE

Mrs. Dora Veldboom passed away Sunday morning at her home in Maurice after an illness of only a few days. She was confined to her bed since Friday.

Dora Luberta Konings was born in Holland and at the time of her death had passed her 85th year.

She was one of the pioneers of this community having come here in the early days. She and her husband, Jan Albert, lived on a farm two miles east of town.

After his death, she and her daughter Jane moved to the home in Maurice where she was living at the time of her death.

She is survived by four children, two daughters, Jane Veldboom of Maurice, Mrs. A.B. Cook of Miller S. D. and two sons, Gerrit of Rock Valley and Henry of Midlleburg.
