HENRY VELDBOOM IS CALLED BEYOND

Henry Veldboom died Saturday at his home five miles north of Orange City. He was born at Wanpun, Wisconsin on April 20, 1875, the son of Jan and Dora (Konings) Veldboom and came to Orange City in 1884. In 1893 he married Miss Sarah Hollander, the ceremony taking place at Orange City.

Besides the widow, Mr. Veldboom is survived by five children, as follows: Julia (Mrs. De Zeeuw); Albert, Dorothy, Cora, who is Mrs. John Vander Sluis and Myrtle.

He is also survived by two sisters---Miss Jane Veldboom of Maurice and Mrs. A.B. Cook of Miller, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home and at the First Reformed Church with Reverend H. Colenbrander in charge.
