FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. HENRY VELDBOOM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Veldboom were held in the First Reformed Church, Orange City Wednesday afternoon with Dr. H. Colenbrander in charge.

Sarah Hollander was born July 19, 1874 in Cinncinnati, Ohio. When she was two years old her family moved to a farm south of Orange City.

Sarah married Henry Veldboom in 1896 at Orange City and unto this union five children were born: Julia (Mrs. William DeZeeuw), Ruthton, Minnesota, Albert of Hartley; Dorothy at home, Cora (Mrs. Jake Douma), Sanborn, and Myrtle (Mrs. Clarence Koenders), West Brook, Minnesota. There are 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Her only living sister is Mrs. Anna Smidt of Des Moines.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1934 and one grandchild died. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Orange City and services were held at the Church and burial in the West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City.
