Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reforned Church in Rock Valley on December 30 for Randall Lee Van Zanten the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius "Cornie" Van Zanten of Rock Valley, who died at the family home in Rock Valley December 27 following an illness.

Services were conducted by the Reverend John Engbers and burial was made in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Survivors besides the parents, include a sister, Charlene Kay, at home; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Charles Kooima, and his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Tony Van Zanten, all of Rock Valley.
