LITTLE GIRL SUCCUMBS TO SUMMER FLU

BABY DAUGHTER OF BERT AND LILLIAN (VANDE BERG) VAN ZYL PASSES BEYOND

On Tuesday morning little Lola Helene Van Zyl, the sixteen month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Van Zyl, died after a brief illness with summer complaint. On Sunday hopes were entertained for her recovery but she suffered a relapse and all that loving hands could do proved to be futile.

She leaves one brother, Kenneth, aged six, who with fond parents will miss her greatly.

The funeral, which was in charge of Reverend Ter Lonw of New Kirk, was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing and sympathizing friends. Interment was made in Hillside Cemetery.

We take this means to extend to the bereaved family our sincerest sympathy in their hour of sorrow.
