Orange City relatives and friends attended the funeral of Mrs. John Vellinga, 58, of Sheldon last week Monday afternoon at the Bethel Reformed Church of Sheldon. Mrs. Vellinga's death was caused by a heart attack on Thursday, January 2.

Margaret L.Vellinga was the daughter of the late Mr. Harry Kooiman and Etta Mouw Kooiman of this area.

Survivors are her husband, John Vellinga and one son, Mark, who is in service with the Air Corps in the Phillipines.

Interment was made at the Westlawn cemetery at Orange City. Mrs. Vellinga was a niece of Mrs. Orville De Jong and a great niece of Mrs. Hubert De Jong, also of Orange City.
