From the Sioux County Capital, January 14, 1937, Rock Valley news:
A baby born to Mr. and Mrs. Jake Terpstra, Tuesday Jan. 5 died Tuesday evening. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the home. The service was conducted by Rev. John Gritter.
