Henry Vellinga, 84, of Orange City, died April 20 at the Orange City hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were at 1:30 p. m. April 22 at the First Reformed Church, with the Reverend A. J. Eissens officiating. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

He was born December 14, 1887, Orange City, son of Ring and Nellie (Vander Wilt) Vellinga. He married Dena Reinders February 12, 1912, Orange City. They farmed in Sioux County.

Survivors: Widow; sons, Rodney of Orange City, Harvey of Marshalltown, John of Sioux City, Robert of State Center; daughters, Mrs. Albert (Nell) Mouw of Page, Arizona, Mrs. Roy (Bertha) VanderStoep and Mrs. Marion (Helen) Korver of Orange City, Mrs. Wilma Klopfenstein of Des Moines; brothers, Edward and John of Sheldon; sisters, Mrs. Hessel VanEizenga, Mrs. Charles Kleinhesselink. Mrs. Charles H. DeVries and Mrs. Marion Mouw of Orange City; 27 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
