LAST RITES HELD OF FOR GARRITT VAN’T HUL, 73

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 6, for Garritt Van’t Hul, 73, of Rock Valley, in the First Christion Reformed Church with the Reverends Thomas Vander Bosch and Louis Bouma. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Van’t Hul died Thursday, November 4, in the Sioux Center Hospital.

Garritt Van’t Hul was born on November 28, 1897 at Perkins, near Hull. He married Grace Pater on June 15, 1922 at Rock Valley.

Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Laura) Vanden Bosch of Rock Valley and Mrs. Russell (Carol) Groot of Worth, Illinois; two sons, Bernard of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Gary of Granville; two brothers, Herman of Orange City and Otto of Rock Valley; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Van Maanen of Sioux Center; 13 grandchildren.
