Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Van Meeteren mourn the death of their son Peter, who died last Tuesday morning. He had reached the age of about 18, and was in apparently the best of health until Sunday forenoon, when he complained of pains. Medical aid was called promptly, and everything that loving hearts and professional skill could do was done but the will of his creator was otherwise.

Funeral services were held in the Newkirk Church Thursday afternoon, Reverend Dowstra officiating. Interment was made in the Newkirk Cemetery.
