ARTHUR VAN MEEVEREN

Funeral services were held at the First Reformed Church in Orange City Monday, March 23, for Arthur Van Meeveren, 61, formerly of Orange City, who died March 19, at a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend R. Van Heukelom and burial was made in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City.

Mr. Van Meeveren was born at Alton, Iowa October 2, 1908, son of William and Minnie (Kleinhesselink) Van Meeveren.

He was married to Rebecca Harrison June 19, 1948, at Opelika, Alabama. Mr. Van Meeveren at one time taught in the Orange City High School and at Northwestern State College.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Dawn, at home; two brothers Alfred of Orange City and Gilbert of Lakewood, California; and a sister Mrs. Simon (Matilda) Harmelink of Orange City.
