Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church in Hull at 1:30 P.M. July 21, for Mrs. John Meyer, 77, of Hull, who died at the Sheldon Hospital, July 18. Services were conducted by the Reverend Willard De Vries and burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull.

The former Winnie Bakker was born in Minnesota, February 2, 1895. She married Gerrit Van Loo and some years after he passed away she was married at Hull to John Meyer. He died October 9, 1954.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Jennie) Rozeboom of Hills, Minnesota; a son, John Van Loo, of Rochester, Minnesota; five sisters, Mrs. Art Vander Pol of Hull, Mrs. Henrietta Van Voorst of LeMars, Mrs. Jennie Kramer, Mrs. John Van Dookumburg, and Mrs. Carrie Vander Streek, all of Rock Valley; two brothers, Louis Bakker of Luverne, Minnesota, and Joe Bakker, of Valley Springs, South Dakota; and one grandchild.
